Meltem Ersoy received her PhD in Political Science from George Mason University with her dissertation entitled Political Crisis and Party Transformation. She completed her MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Sabancı University and her BA in International Relations at Koç University. Ersoy has been teaching in the fields of Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, and Conflict Resolution at various universities: Boğaziçi University, Okan University, Bahçeşehir University, Sabancı University ve University for Peace. She is a consultant and trainer on negotiation, mediation and communication.
She completed a report about the public opinion on democracy in Turkey, and worked as a consultant in the project. She conducts interviews and writes on arts and culture on platforms such as Artful Living, Art Unlimited and Yazarlar Kulübü.
